The initial thrust of Impact Society was a result of a fathers impact on his son.  Jason Geffers witnessed his father, David Geffers, dramatic life transformation that only God could do.  Jason saw the impact God had on his fathers life and the example his father then modeled.

Jason had a vision to start a ministry to men.  His hope is that Impact Society can influence men in a positive way that they in turn will impact the lives of his family.

A building was purchased on the corner of Oregon St. and 16th Ave. in Oshkosh, WI to hold events for men in a neutral setting.  In the summer of 2007 the building was extensively renovated.  It has an office, state-of-the-art home-theater room, fireplace, kitchen, bathroom facilities, a large open room for large gatherings, and a backyard deck to hold cookouts.  Plans are to renovate one remaining room into a game room.

Impact Society was incorporated in the summer of 2006 and became a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization in January 2007.

The ministry has grown to not only impact men, but the community and world.
