The cornerstone verse we have based Impact Society on is John 17:3-4, "Now this is eternal life; that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, who you have sent.  I have brought you glory on earth by completing the work you gave me to do."

Our Impact Programs have been designed for men to come to know Jesus Christ and to grow strong in their faith. If you believe in what Impact Society stands for and the direction it is heading, please consider making an impact and participate financially.  Impact Society is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and your financial gift is tax deductible.  Your prayer and financial support is most appreciated.

Impact Men

We have many events designed to build friendships and camaraderie.  We believe we can reach more men by holding all of our events in neutral setting; not affiliated with any church.  As friendships build between the men and trust has been obtained, eventually men will begin to open up and confide with others.  They would then know that they are not alone with life's struggles.

Impact the Community

Two community outreach programs available for you to participate in:

  • Serving meals at the Salvation Army
    • 2nd Thursday of each month
    • 2 hour time commitment
    • 4:00pm - 6:00pm
  • Performing light manual work for a widow, single mom, or those in distress
    • No experience necessary
    • Team environment
    • 3rd Saturday of each month
    • 3 hour time commitment
    • 7:00am - 10:00am
    • Preregistration required

Sri Lanka
Participate on a Sri Lanka short-term missions trip with Cherith International and Mission Guides.

‘Helping Hands’ are short-term voluntary programs, offering participants a unique, hands-on intercultural experience. With its multi-ethnic and multi-religious community consisting of Buddhists, Hindus, Muslims and Christians, Nawalapitiya is an ideal setting for the Helping Hands programs.

The Helping Hands teams assist in enhancing the mission of Cherith International to serve those in need.


Myanmar
Participate in the Myanmar Disaster Relief Effort by giving financially to this cause.   A number of men from Impact Society have visited Myanmar and have a strong contact within the country that is helping the relief effort.  We can ensure you that 100% of the money you donate to this cause will go to this ministry and will be used for those people in Myanmar who are suffering.
